In this seven day trip you will visit one of Iceland’s best kept secrets, with nice hikes, local farm visit and adventures that will let you experience our unique country through they eyes of the local. Go off the main tourist tracks and visit places and sights that only the locals know about, this trip is ideal for returning travelers that want to experience the real Iceland and something different.

Day 1
When you arrive in Iceland at Keflavik Airport, your private driver will greet you at the arrival hall and take you to relax in the Blue Lagoon Geothermal Spa, where you will have access to the Retreat Spa and soak in geothermal waters. There is a restaurant in the Spa if you want to have a light meal. You can stay up to five hours at the Spa. Afterwards your private driver will take you to your hotel.
Day 2
On this day you will head into Hvalfjordur where you will hike up to Iceland’s second tallest waterfall called Glymur. The hike is of medium difficulty, going through a natural cave and crossing a river on a big tree trunk before needing to climb a fairly steep mountainside (Approx hike to top 2 - 2,5 hours). On top of the waterfall, you will enjoy the stunning views before going down and heading back to your hotel in Reykjavik.

Day 3
The Westman Islands are often overlooked by travellers, which is understandable, us living on the mainland sometimes forget it exists too, but it's definitely a place worth visiting. Heimaey is the only one of the islands that are inhabited, Heimaey and from there the entire population had to evacuate in 1973 due to a massive volcanic eruption. You will start the day by heading to Landeyjahöfn port to board the ferry Herjólfur to the Westman Islands (Approx. drive 1 hour and 50 minutes and approx 35 minutes ferry ride). Once arrived in The Westman Islands you will enjoy the day exploring this amazing Island, the island is rich in history but also happen to be where you'll find the world's largest puffin colony, giving you an opportunity to visit these adorable little fellas in their natural habitat, visit the volcano museum located on the Island and enjoying amazing dinner at Slippurinn Restaurant before heading back to the mainland, where your guide will take you to your hotel in South Iceland.
Day 4
Today you will dive headfirst into the action as you set your sights on the captivating beauty of the Icelandic south shore. This journey will take you through the breathtaking landscapes and enchanting wonders that await along its coastline.
Day 5
Spend the whole day relaxing and discovering Reykjavik. Your hotel is located downtown near all the main shops and attractions, therefore it is easy to wander around and explore at your own pace.
Day 6
On this day you will embark on a journey to witness Icelandic nature. You will take a whale & puffing watching trip from Reykjavík.
Day 7
On the last day you will be picked up by a private driver and driven to the airport in time for your flight. *You have to be at Keflavik airport 2 hours before departure.
